Kirk has been at Norcross High School since 1999. He has taught Health and PE, was an assistant football coach and the head Girls Track coach.  Kirk is currently serving NHS as the Athletic and Activities Director. He has a BS in Health Science from Georgia Southern University, a Masters in Health and Physical Education from West Georgia, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University. Kirk lives in the Norcross area.
